Worship Team

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” – Revelation 4:11
The goal of the worship ministry is to provide an environment in which the congregation can respond to the loving, gracious, and powerful character of God. We use music to create an atmosphere that encourages the church to look at God for who He is, and praise His name in response. Through song, we corporately pledge our lives to Him in light of the amazing sacrifice He gave for us.

As a worship team, we make it a priority to make Christ the center of our ministry. We use our meetings to pray together, study God’s Word, and fine tune our skills so that we can glorify God to the best of our ability. Our meetings are meant to make sure that we can effectively lead His people into worship. In no way do we want to hinder the church’s response to Him.
We believe that this response does not end when the music stops. Worship is a lifestyle. Our daily lives should be carried out in response to who God is and what He has done for us. His sacrifice on the cross will inspire believers to sacrifice every aspect of their lives to Him. Sunday mornings are simply a time where we can express our joy and gratitude to God for what He has done.
We want everyone who walks through the doors of Calvary Chapel Apple Valley to experience God. It is our desire that everyone will have a real encounter with the Most High God – and respond. We also pray that this response is carried out into our everyday lives so that God is glorified in every aspect of our being.

I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
