God is the Creator of marriage and we have a 100% chance of success if we do it His way!  This is such a positive and optimistic statement, but as you take in the truths presented in this class, you too will find yourself able to experience it. The material is designed to make a bad marriage good, and a good marriage great.  So whether you have been married a long time, or are just starting out, you will find this to be a time of great inspiration in your relationship.

Gary and Brenda have been involved in marriage ministry and mentoring for the past 20 years.  They consider it a great privilege to be part of the healing that God loves to do in the lives of His people.  Having experienced difficult struggles in their own relationship, they are eager to see husbands and wives use Biblical principles so that their marriages glorify God and achieve all that the Lord desires.

The class meets in Gary and Brenda’s home and is divided into two parts. Part 1 consists of an 8-week study through the book “You and Me Forever” by Francis and Lisa Chan. This bestselling book challenges us to view our marriage as a key way to glorify God and expand His Kingdom. We discuss the practical ways to implement the important principles outlined in the book. As the authors state, “Focusing on God’s mission made our marriage amazing.” Part 2 also lasts 8 weeks and utilizes the video series “Marriage on the Rock” by Pastor Jimmy Evans. A wide range of practical topics are covered, such as:

• Biblical Foundations of Marriage

• Understanding and Meeting Your Spouse's Needs

• The Power of Positive Communication

• Financial Management in Marriage

• Raising Great Children

• Managing Blended Families

• Parents - Past and Present

• Sexual Fulfillment in Marriage

Gary and Brenda present these topics in a transparent and real-life style, allowing you to see how God is working things out in their own lives on a daily basis. Because this is a home fellowship, space is limited to 10 couples. Each session is approximately 2 hours.  No child care is provided, since this is meant to be a night out for couples and a time for focusing on each other.
