Jr High Ministry

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."  Rom 12:2

We invite your middle schoolers to join our "Transformed" Jr. High Ministry for worship, verse-by-verse Bible study, fellowship & games, and more. We meet Sunday mornings at 9am, 10:45am, & 12:30pm as well as Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in the Jr. High Room. This group is for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.

Our Jr. High group is led Hunter McKoy. He is assisted by his wife Allegra, along with Nathan Hatley, Kelsey Evans, and Chloe Garcia. We believe this is a pivotal age as these kids "transform" into teenagers. They are searching for identity and meaning to help navigate new and awkward challenges, and the world will try draw them into empty things that won't last. So we hope to equip them with true identity in Jesus Christ that will last for eternity. (2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 2:4-10, Phil. 3:20-21)

Our desire through "Transformed" Jr. High Ministry at Calvary Chapel Apple Valley is to invite youth to make Jesus the center of their lives now. We believe if they choose to grow daily in God's Word and find every opportunity to live out His will, they will have strength in the one who has overcome the world. (Prov 22:6, John 16:33, 1 John 4:4)
